A collection of recipes from Edburton, Fulking, Newtimber, Poynings, Pyecombe and Saddlescombe, with illustrations by Graham Jeffery.
Our Cook Book, in aid of the four parishes of Poynings, Edburton, Newtimber and Pyecombe has now been published. Containing recipes from parishioners and friends of the churches it is beautifully illustrated by Graham Jeffery, who many of you may remember illustrated ‘The Hungry Monk’ recipe book back in the seventies, and makes a perfect Christmas gift.
It is priced at £7.50 for a single copy, or £20 for three and is already sellng fast. It is available from BookNook and will also be on sale at the Fulking Christmas Party on 8th December.

Please come and join the Edburton Christmas Choir this year! It is always great fun, there are only three rehearsals to commit to and one of those is an hour before the performance. Everyone is welcome.
Two one hour rehearsals will be at The Keep in The Street, Fulking:

The carol service itself starts at 6:00pm.

October 15th — a traditional Harvest Festival Service at 11.00am will be followed by our ever popular harvest picnic lunch (which must be ordered in advance). The picnic will take place inside St. Andrew’s, or outside if the weather permits.

Caroline and Alan Currer are leaving the Downland Churches in September, and we are holding a party to celebrate their farewell.
