Join us for an exciting love story which will tickle your French fancy! This spectacular show has all the elements you’d expect from a traditional pantomime with loads of silliness to boot! It is not automated so will not happen immediately, the Beast has large hooves and tends to chew the keyboard so it may take him a while to send them. The tickets do not reserve seats, first come first seated.
Wreath DIY at Saddlescombe
Create your own Christmas wreath with materials collected from the downs. Take a festive walk and collect your holly and ivy. Return to historic Saddlescombe farm to make your very own Christmas decorations in front of log burning stoves. Mulled apple juice, mince pies and roast chestnuts will be included.

Messy Church
Poynings Bonfire & Fireworks
Join us for our bonfire and fireworks at the Blacksmith Field (behind Forge Garage) on Saturday 5th November. The procession will leave the Royal Oak at 6:25pm approximately. Lighting of the fire and fireworks will follow. Please give generously on the gate. Hot food and drink by Sussex Four Wheel Drive in aid of Ye Olde Villagers Christmas Dinner. [Last year, mulled wine was £3.00 glass, and hog roast with stuffing and apple sauce was £5.00.]
Clean-burning material (wood & cardboard) can be taken to the bonfire site from today until 5:00pm on the 1st November.
