Poynings Garden Fete
Saturday June 18th at 2.00pm in the Rectory garden. Pimms, teas, cakes, stalls, puppets, maypole, bottle tombola, and live music. Proceeds in aid of running costs and general repair of our beautiful 14th century church.

Military History Weekend
Shoreham Fort, Forthaven, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5HY, Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th June, 11:00am–4:30pm. A family friendly event with military parade ground demonstrations and military vehicles on display. Refreshments, cake and food will be available on site from ‘Food for Fort’.

Bluebells at Furzefield
Bluebells are coming on and should be good by the end of this week and after that for a couple of weeks. Keep an eye out as you are passing. All villagers and families welcome, keep children under control, regret no pets. Please call on 271 before you come.

Saddlescombe Farm Open Day
The National Trust writes:
Discover this ancient downland farm that was once owned by the Knights Templars. Tours of the 17th century buildings, the surrounding downs and the walled garden. Displays and demonstrations of traditional work including; hurdle making, shepherding, carpenters’ workshop and more. Tea and home-made cakes available.
