Fulking photographer wins major award

Attentive readers of this website will know that Hugo Healy, seen above in his garden at Oldwood, recently took a set of aerial photographs of Fulking Fair. But he is now much better known for winning the Agora Images #Aerial2019 competition and, as a result, having his work feature in both The Sun and The Mail in the last couple of days (make sure to check both links as they feature slightly different sets of photos). Bob’s Cafe — now offering pizza on Saturdays

Opening hours: Fridays 11:00am–5:00pm, Saturdays 5:00pm–8:00pm
Home made, stone-baked pizzas with a choice.of toppings on Saturdays (bar August 17th) from 5:00pm–8:00pm. Eat in, out or take away. If there are going to be several of you, you would be wise to let us know before Saturday, either by email or in person (Fridays 11:00am–5:00pm).
Also, as usual, proper coffee, variety of teas, home-made cakes, soup, sandwiches, ploughman’s and panini. Children’s meal deal and lots of board games, colouring books, etc. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly room. Table tennis bats available.

Parish Council Planning Meeting

You are cordially invited to attend the extraordinary meeting of Fulking  Parish Council on Tuesday 13th August 2019 at 7.00pm, at The Village Hall, Fulking  for  the transaction of the business on the Agenda below.  

Following the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014, and with regard to regulations on Access to Local Government Meetings, members of the public are advised that they have a right to film/record the meetings of Fulking Parish Council. Members of the public are also advised that by attending a meeting of Fulking Parish Council, they give their consent to being filmed/recorded by other members of the public, if such activity is taking place.

Public Participation: There will be a period of 15 minutes set aside at the beginning of the meeting for the public to ask questions or make comments on items on the Agenda. Comments on items not appearing on the agenda can be made at the chairman’s discretion.

  3. Approve the Minutes* of the Ordinary Meeting 11th July 2019.   The minutes, subject to any amendments, to be approved and signed as a true record of the meeting. 
  4. Planning Matters:  To comment on planning applications received from South Downs National Park being: SDNP/19/03567/HOUS 2 Paythorne Farm Cottages Edburton Road Fulking BN5 9LP construction of new front porch; demolition of rear porch, reconstruction as utility room and c. with extension to side to boundary with No 1 and SDNP/19/03354/HOUS Downside Poynings Road Fulking BN5 9NB Single storey timber framed and timber clad garage and games room structure. 

Date of the next Ordinary Meeting: Thursday 10th October 2019 to be held at Fulking Village Hall at 7.30pm.
