Fulking Parish Council will hold a planning meeting in The Village Hall on Wednesday 3rd October 2018 at 7pm to consider the following application:

Members of the public and press are invited to attend. Members of the public are entitled to speak at the meeting for two minutes by prior appointment with the clerk. No more than two speakers are permitted in favour of the proposal, and two against.

Recycling Permits

In a way, this is a trailer for a scheme which starts on 1st October. From then you will need a permit to use a van, pickup or single axle trailer to visit a recycling centre in West Sussex.
Some vehicles will be banned from that date:
• multi axle trailers (four wheels)
• horse boxes
• tipper trucks
• flatbed or dropside trucks
• Luton (box) type vans

The good news is that (provided you are a West Sussex resident) getting a permit takes just a minute or so on-line.

Two bed cottage in Poynings
There aren’t many two bedroom cottages in Fulking and Edburton and none have been on the market since Arcadia sold in the summer. There aren’t many in Poynings either but one of them has just become available, conveniently located between the Royal Oak and the Forge Garage.

Join mycologist Martin Allinson for a day of recording as many species of fungi as possible across Newtimber Hill on Friday 19th October from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Wear suitable clothing and bring lunch.
