Dance Night in Fulking Village Hall
Fulking Village Hall, Saturday 12th December 7.15pm for 8.00pm!
An exciting night out in the Village Hall
Two live bands. ‘Sold as Seen’ have been a big success at Fulking Fairs, and ‘Kate’s Kitchen Band’ are a great Ceilidh band.
Both bands will get you dancing!
Entry £5, Bring a bottle.

Verdi Requiem
Chanctonbury Chorus (with singers from Fulking) and the Hurst College Choral Society and Orchestra at 7:30pm on Sunday 6th December in Hurstpierpoint College Chapel. Secure your tickets from Chris Gildersleeve.
A Downland Celebration
Pyecombe Church, 6:00pm–9:00pm on Saturday 14th November. Enjoy local Sussex wine from Ditchling’s Court Garden Vineyard, with cheese, bread and nibbles. Hear historic tales about Pyecombe’s past, links with Lewes Priory and with local villages along the South Downs Way. Be entertained with music from the Pyecombe Choir and other local musicians.

Poynings Apple Press Release [updated again]
Apple Pressing, Sunday 11th October at Poynings Village Hall. Pressing starts at 11:30am. Have your apples pressed at 50p per litre. Bring containers or buy 1 litre bottles — 25p.
Best Apple Cake Competition. Entries 11:00am — 1:00pm Poynings Village Hall (£1.00 per entry). Judging 1:00pm — 2:00 pm (followed by trophy presentation). Open to Poynings, Fulking and Newtimber residents.
Music from ‘Sold As Seen’. Refreshments, Stalls, Apple Bobbing, Toffee Apples in aid of various charities and events.

Old Time Music Hall Singalong
To be held at St. Andrew’s on Friday 2nd October at 7.30pm. The singing will be led by The Pyecombe Village Choir and tickets, priced at £10, include supper of bangers, beans and baked potatoes and a welcome drink. Numbers will be limited. South Downs Songs
St. John the Evangelist Church, Newtimber, will be hosting a concert on Saturday October 17th at 7:00pm entitled Traditional Songs of the Sussex Downs and Coast by Chris Hare and his group of singers. The cost of tickets will be £10 for adults and £5 for children under 18 — this includes a drink during the interval. Tickets can be obtained from:
