Join mycologist Martin Allinson for a day of recording as many species of fungi as possible across Newtimber Hill on Friday 9th October from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Wear suitable clothing and bring lunch. Old Time Music Hall Singalong
To be held at St. Andrew’s on Friday 2nd October at 7.30pm. St. John the Evangelist Church, Newtimber, will be hosting a concert on Saturday October 17th at 7:00pm entitled Traditional Songs of the Sussex Downs and Coast by Chris Hare and his group of singers. Battle of Britain Day Flypast
It is a bit hard to tell given the scale of the maps but it looks as if this event may bring some of the forty participating planes over Fulking on the afternoon of Tuesday 15th September. This may be your chance to see the underside of a Spitfire, a Hurricane or the only Bristol Blenheim in the world that is still able to become airborne.

Chris Paterson of the SDNPA writes:
[We] have sent out packs of posters and leaflets to all parish councils, but some of these packages do not appear to have arrived .. and therefore the publicity material has not gone out in the parish. I have had some parish councils confirm receipt of this material (Posters and Postcards) but not all.
If you would like to download a PDF of the full plan from the SDNPA website in advance of the roadshow, well, good luck. They will sell you a paper copy though — but you have to phone or email the SDNPA first in order to find out what it costs.
