Six hours per week mainly working from home but the role does include attending some evening meetings. (There are four Parish Council meetings per year and they are held in January, April, May, July and October. Planning meetings are held as and when required on either the 1st, 3rd or 5th Wednesday of the Month.)

Duties include taking minutes, day to day correspondence, financial records, updating the website, researching and updating council policies.

Hourly rate £10.26

Preston Nomads are looking for someone to join their staff to help cover the bar for a few hours a week, mainly in the evenings and at weekends. Applicants must be over 18, due to the sale of alcohol, but there’s no upper age limit! They must be trustworthy and reliable with a friendly and outgoing personality. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided. The season runs from mid April until early September. They offer a competitive rate of pay and an excellent working environment.

Pyecombe Golf Club is looking to appoint an apprentice greenkeeper. Duties will include a range of golf course maintenance tasks including some construction, treework and conservation activities. Previous experience in horticulture would be beneficial, but is not essential. Full onsite training will be given in addition to a requirement to attain NVQ qualifications by attending college.
