Guy Fawkes and the torch procession will leave the Royal Oak at approximately 6:25pm on Saturday November 9th. Fireworks and incineration of the dissident will follow. Food will be available. Please give generously on the gate to allow this event to continue.

You can take clean burning material (no tyres, plastic, metal, etc.) to the bonfire site at the Blacksmith Field behind Forge Garage. (not the garage forecourt) from 9:00am to 5:00pm any day from now until the 9th.

The calendar is to be launched on Friday 25th October at the Royal Oak. The price is £7.50 and each purchase at the event will come with a free glass of fizzy wine. Calendars will then be available at local outlets including The Royal Oak, Rushfields, and Bob’s Cafe. Funds raised from sales will go towards maintaining Holy Trinity.

After our autumn break, Bob’s Cafe is now open on Fridays 11:00am–2:00pm and 4:00–5:00pm (after school club). We are also open Sunday mornings 9:30am–12:30pm if there is a football match.

Air AmbulanceAlso: coffee morning at the cafe in aid of the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance on Thursday October 10th between 9:30am and 12:30pm. Indoor and outdoor seating. Home-made cake donations welcome.
