Wide Load
A mobile home is to be driven up Clappers Lane from the village end to the Conifers site tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd August. Residents will need to remove any parked cars in order to allow access. Timing unknown.

Poynings & Edburton road closures
The dog-leg that connects Poynings to the Saddlescombe Road will be closed from Monday 15th February until Friday 19th February. More details here but the notice appears to be incorrect judging from the diversion signs already posted.
If you were thinking that you might escape from Fulking by driving in the opposite direction, that’s tough, the Edburton Road is also closed, for the same period (rat underpass work). Stock up and stay put.

Saddlescombe Road closure
Saddlescombe Road and Devils Dyke Road will be closed between 12.30am and 9.00am on Sunday 12th July thanks to the 2015 Night Time London to Brighton Bike Ride. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained and alternative routes for other traffic will be signed on site.
