The competition includes, inter alia, an award from the South Downs Society for a project set within the Sussex boundaries of the South Downs National Park. The closing date for entries is Friday 11th April 2014. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Thursday 3rd July at 12:30pm in Pangdean Old Barn, Pyecombe. Lady Brook Spring: call for volunteers
The Lady Brook Spring project looks as though it may go ahead at the end of May / beginning of June. Senior Community Solutions officer Darren Rolfe is looking for volunteers to help with the fencing at that time prior to work starting on the spring proper on Saturday 7th June (dates are provisional).
