Lady Brook Spring: call for volunteers
The Lady Brook Spring project looks as though it may go ahead at the end of May / beginning of June. Senior Community Solutions officer Darren Rolfe is looking for volunteers to help with the fencing at that time prior to work starting on the spring proper on Saturday 7th June (dates are provisional).
Interested volunteers should contact me and I will keep them updated.

Steyning Horticultural Society Spring Show

Steyning Camera Club will be putting on an exhibition of their latest work alongside the floral displays, cookery and children’s classes at the Steyning Centre on Saturday, March 29, at 2.30pm. There will be a plant sale and refreshments will be available.
Shoreham Aerojumble

Bomb squad on Clayton Hill
The Argus reports that workmen found a mortar buried on Clayton Hill. The Army blew it up yesterday. The A273 was closed and trains were delayed.
