Local History

Local history posts contain items about people, places and things that figure in the history of Fulking, Edburton and the immediately adjacent area. They can vary in length from an image accompanied by a single paragraph through to illustrated essays that can sensibly fit on one or two web pages. A talk by Geoffrey Mead to Beeding & Bramber Local History Society at 7:45pm on Wednesday 6th February in the Village Hall, Upper Beeding. There is a hard-to-detect car park immediately opposite. Dr. Mead is a geographer at the University of Sussex and his local history talks are always interesting and well illustrated.
